The big tidy-up day

On Saturday 12 August 2006 our enormous skip in the E P Collier School playground attracted loads of attention (and rubbish)! We managed to fill the skip, sponsored by Reading Festival organisers Mean Fiddler, in less than 4 hours. Look out for another tidy-up day in our area this summer!

10.00am - our first customer arrives. It starts a bit slowly...

...but by 11.00 the skip's already over half full!

Here we all are, with Councillor June Orton. We had a photographer from the Reading Chronicle taking pictures too...

...and by 2.00 it's all over. We've simply run out of space - so you'll have to come back next time!
